How Can We Help?
We offer a range of activities to support community efforts towards a sustainable food future. Whether you need help with raised beds or want to learn about caring for bees, our team is here to connect you with the right tools for the job.
Advice & consultations
We can provide education and training on how to grow food in a way that is environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and low-budget. We offer advice, consultations, and resources related to all things local food production.
If we don't know something, we know someone who does!
People power
When people are connected to each other, their neighbors, and local resources, they make their communities stronger.
The 'network' of growers is how we talk about building relationships that make our neighborhoods and cities healthier, more adaptable, and abundant.
Hands-on workshops
Our workshops let you learn and practice useful shop skills. Build a raised bed or chicken coop, learn to install irrigation lines, harvest honey, make bread, grow mushrooms from tree logs, and even sewing skills!
Workdays
We know people from most community and urban gardens in the area. With our volunteers, we hold workdays at their gardens and farms when there's big work to do. Workdays change depending on what the gardeners need, but we can often be found pulling weeds, adding mulch, mixing soil, starting new plants, and doing some good old-fashioned cleaning and organizing.
Care & share
One of the most important features of our network is sharing. Instead of everyone in the neighborhood having their own equipment, we keep tools floating around the network.
We have hand tools (think shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows), large equipment (think tractors and tillers), power tools, books, online resources, and real human people to help you with your project.
Sustainability
We take a holistic approach to urban agriculture. We're into growing food in ways that are gentle on the planet, support soil health and biodiversity, and respond to social needs.
As we strive to be sustainable, we reuse and repurpose materials whenever possible to be financially and ecologically responsible.

Youth Engagement
Engaging young people in the work of growing food and caring for the land is key to ensuring an abundant future for all.
Our network participants can provide
kid-friendly, hands-on learning experiences that encourage practical skills and inspire a deep connection with the local environment.

Community Outreach
Our community outreach connects with local residents to create sustainable and resilient communities. Our workshops and events provide space where friends, neighbors, and community members can come together for food and fellowship.

Holistic Wellness
Our work centers around growing food and building connections so we can build and maintain healthy communities.
We believe that health includes not just what you feed your body, but what you feed your mind. Yoga, meditation, and connecting to the natural world keep our minds and bodies strong.

Real-World Skills
Our workshops give individuals the knowledge and tools they need to create and maintain functional gardens that feed their families and neighbors. We offer hands-on training in many skills needed for sustainable urban farming. Our workshops also function as networking events to meet new friends and connect with our neighbors.
